Inspired by the loss of her mother, Ellyn’s books focus on hard-won wisdom that is born from our difficult moments in life. To bring these insights to the surface, she works with well-known, highly accomplished women on writing letters to their younger selves.

Hi Ellyn
I’m visiting your wonderful country connecting (again) with friends from my past of over 48 years. To remember our younger selves is such an important part of maintaining our present. Quite by chance, over a short oder of french toast and double bacon at a local diner in Princeton, I read about you (all) in USA1. You will know that LTYYS is important to fellows too. Perhaps even more so since we are generally poor at revealing our true selves in the way women do so naturally.
As I writer I often use back-history to connect with the present; your work has inspired me to dig deeper into this fascinating topic.
So, thank you.

Hey there Tony from Gloucestershire!
I do agree with you that the reflection back is useful and important for fellows, too. In fact, I’ve been very happy with a couple of corporate presentations in which I had male top executives as panelists. The letters we worked on together were wonderful!
Enjoy your visit and thank you for your comment.
all the best,
Ellyn
